Audio Shiurim on Sefer Chareidim given by Eliyahu Gurevich were recorded in 2002-2003.
Sefer Chareidim is a very famous work on the 613 Mitzvot, by Rabbi Elazar Azkari, who lived in the city of Tzefat at the end of the 16th century and was a contemporary of the Arizal and Rabbi Yosef Karo, the author of the Shulchan Aruch. It is very unique in its style due to the fact that all of the mitzvot are arranged according to a list of the human body parts and time of the day and of the year on which these commandments depend in their observance. Sefer Chareidim does not just have a single count of the commandments according to his own opinion like all of the preceding Mitzvot literature, but rather lists the commandments according to various opinions of his predecessors.
